Collette has over 20 years experience in hairdressing, working mainly in London and Australia. Collette is committed to giving you a brilliant haircut. Beyond her passion for hairdressing, Collette is a qualified nutritionist dedicated to health and wellbeing. You may have spotted her at Kernel of Hove, You Juice, or Taj or embracing the elements as an all-year-round sea swimmer, enjoying Brighton's vibrant coastal lifestyle.
Marianne is a colour specialist with nearly 20 years experience of working with Aveda in London and as an International Educator. Over the past few years her home has been Brighton.
After the birth of her son and due to her lack of love for Southern Rail Marianne joined Shine. She works with us on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Franco joins us from Aveda in Manchester. With over 20 years of experience, Franco spent 8 years at Vidal Sassoon in Berlin before continuing his career at Aveda salons in both Berlin and Manchester. Now based in Brighton, Franco specialises in both hair cutting and colouring, offering exceptional expertise and creativity to every client.
Cecilia specialises in colour. Cecilia moved from France in 1998 to work in London, her talent was noticed and she quickly became part of a global art team. Two daughters later she decided to hit the south coast and bring her talent to Shine. She has now successfully completed the Aveda colour master programme. You may have seen her at Resident Records, Ocean Sports, or buying an oat flat white at the Flour pot.
Veronica trained in London and moved to Brighton around 8 years ago to join Shine. Veronica is a brilliant all round hairdresser and would love to colour, cut or dress your hair for a special evening or day.
Originally from Naples, she now lives in Brighton with her husband and beautiful little girl. You’ll find Veronica at Shine on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Charlotte has been building her experience since qualifying in December 2025 and loves creating polished blow dries, natural-looking highlights, and fresh, flattering haircuts. She’s ideal for clients looking for a simple refresh or an effortless everyday style, always delivered with care, attention to detail, and enthusiasm. Charlotte is passionate about continuing to develop her skills and creating beautiful results that leave her clients feeling their best.
Sam with over 19 years of experience in hairdressing, Sam is passionate about creating beautiful, personalised looks that make her clients feel confident and their best.
She particularly loves grey blending and enhancing natural colour, creating soft, seamless results that work with each client’s individual colouring. She enjoys all aspects of cutting, especially precision haircuts.
Sam loves getting to know her clients, understanding what makes them feel their best, and creating a look they can feel confident wearing.
Maddie is a passionate and dedicated Senior Stylist who takes great pride in making every client feel confident, comfortable and well looked after.
Maddie has extensive experience managing a busy client column and is committed to delivering exceptional service and high-quality results. Friendly, professional and attentive, she takes the time to understand each client’s individual needs and loves building genuine, lasting relationships.
